MSC Western Med: What is the principal embarkation port?

What is the principal embarkation port? Is it Genoa, Barcelona, etc. Or are there 4000 people on and off at each port?

Barcelona and Genoa are the principal embarkation ports, although you can embark at any port. So some people will be on and off at each one, but not 4000. We embarked in Palermo and it seemed only a handful did along with us.

We've embarked at Civitavecchia a couple of times, both with MSC transfer and independently. It was never very busy, to my surprise. Venice was much slower. Ken
