After having just one ship in mid-September - it is great on a a second blue-hulled beauty only 2 days after the previous one. And from there continuing to have more show up every few days. Best time of the year.

I will be here and maybe even make sail-in.

One last breakfast Pinnacle Grill. Veendam still delivers a great cruise experience.

Everything worked as advertised, great food choices and taste.

Last nights headliner show Bobby Wilson (son of Motown legend Jackie Wilson) had the ship rocking. Best show I have seen on Hal.

I loved Jackie Wilson, does his son have any of Jackie's voice talent. Such a rich voice. I would have loved to have seen the show anyway.

The apple fell very close to the tree. He did his Dad, Little Richard, Lionel, Nat King Cole, Billy Paul, Elvis, Sammy Davis to name a few.

Folks were standing, dancing, clapping.

He will perform on the upcoming Eurodam Malt Shoppe cruise along with Beach Boys, Drifters, Brian Hyland etc.

This was our 291 day of sailing on Hal ships and we enjoyed the great crew and loved meeting some fellow Cruise Critic regulars.

Is there any way of recording the sail away or playing it at a later time?

My friend I will be sailing with in December has to work tonight and will not be home in time to see the sail away.

Go to the very bottom of the Port Everglades webcam page and click on "Sail-away Video". At the top of the new page, fill in all the information. It sometimes takes a day or two to be posted but I just checked and Wednesday's sail-away of Koningsdam is available.

I have looked everywhere on my screen and cannot find anything like "Sail-away Video"

At the very bottom of the page there is a list of clickable links in yellow with a blue background. One of the links says "Sail Away Video" which is next to "Request A Wave". Make sure you are looking at the Port Everglades webcam site and not the Ft Lauderdale one.

Hope to be here today! Glad to hear from AliasChief that Veendam treated him well!
