Debark day excursion question

I booked an excursion day of debarkation in Miami. My flight isn't until much later in the afternoon, and the excursion included airport transfers.

How does this work? I would assume you would need to be off the ship fairly quickly according to the posted start time. Do you self-assist?

TIA

Your luggage goes on the tour bus with you (underneath in the luggage compartment) while you are on the excursion. That same bus stores your luggage for you and transports you to the airport after your excursion. You do not need to do self assist. There will be a lot of people doing post cruise excursions.

There will be a letter in your room.
