DramaQueen22 Posted August 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2018 I booked an excursion day of debarkation in Miami. My flight isn't until much later in the afternoon, and the excursion included airport transfers. How does this work? I would assume you would need to be off the ship fairly quickly according to the posted start time. Do you self-assist? TIA
DallasGuy75219 Posted August 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Not required to do self assist. If you have debark excursion tickets, they will send low-numbered luggage tags to your room and a letter with a meeting place and time so that you can get off the ship timely. cb at sea Posted August 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2018 They will tell you where to meet...they'll take you AND your luggage on the excursion, then drop you at the airport when you're done.
blarko Posted August 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2018 Your luggage goes on the tour bus with you (underneath in the luggage compartment) while you are on the excursion. That same bus stores your luggage for you and transports you to the airport after your excursion. You do not need to do self assist. There will be a lot of people doing post cruise excursions.
