Fans in suites

My DH dearly loves a fan when he sleeps (for the breeze). We usually take a portable fan that folds up. But, if we are in a suite, do you think they would provide us one?

They have big indusrial fans to use when carpet gets wet. They are extremely loud. I dont think you would want one.

You definitely do not want one of Celebrity's fans. The noise will make you crazy. The carpeting in the dressing room area of our penthouse got wet. They only ran the fan when we were not in the cabin. It was exceedingly noisy.

I have heard that electric fans are now being confiscated. Not sure why. :confused:

However, I purchased a fan at Walmart that is battery operated. The batteries are rechargeable with a USB cord. Recently used the fan on a B2B cruise. The little fan was great and very powerful! Could be moved around the stateroom, but I used it when getting ready at the dressing table. I used my cell phone cord plug when I needed to charge the fan.

Thanks to everyone for their kind reply. Looks like we will be taking our battery, fold up fan. It has gone everywhere, the Med, the Baltic, the ABC islands.

We took two USB powered fans, and one of those USB battery packs. Then used a USB extension cable across the back of the bed to connect the other fan. It easily ran the two fans all night, then in the morning we would just charge it up.
