Oosterdam Key Card Usage

How do the Neptune Suite door locks work on this ship? Do you just need to hold the keycard near it, or what?

 

 

Cruises, stars, it’s all so confusing...

 

As with all other Ving cards, you need to insert it in the slot, thereby allowing the lock to "read: the magnetic strip

OK. Thanks to all - and if I had had my wits about me, I would have noticed that a previous reply referencing the Konigsdam would have clued me in that the newest ship(s) have them. I would guess retrofitting them on the existing fleet would be expen$ive. I just figured HAL would have the same system on all the ships. Silly me!
