Everything Casino Offers -- Premier, Getaway, Pack&Play, and other Casino offers

(This post is not about "Bounce Back" offers, which is the letter slid under your door on the last night of the cruise.)

Post here about All VIFP casino offers - -

Elite, Ultra, Premier, Premier Getaway, Select, Pack & Play, and all Other VIFP Casino offers

https://www.carnival.com/cruise-deals/vifp-club.aspx

The reason for this thread ... The casino staff is certainly hush-hush about what the offers are and what it takes to get them. Or, maybe there are better offers that people aren't getting or don't know about or would be close to getting with a slight change in their casino play. Let's all share our knowledge with each other.

Second reason ... Sometimes we may miss seeing an offer in the VIFP member deals. So, by the time it's noticed, the rates have gone up or the casino offer cabins are sold out. There is a thread for AARP gift cards where folks notify each other when they're available so if you're subscribed to that thread you get a heads up. I'm hoping when casino offers come up everyone will all post to this thread that new offers are available so we can go check our offers (you will need to subscribe to this thread to get the updated posts > in Thread tools at upper right corner of thread ). Also, I'm hoping people will post details on what offers they are seeing.

I'll go first ... we used to cruise only once per year, plus we didn't "get" the "give them your card every single time" at the tables rule (we thought if they knew us by name they were rating us, but in actuality we likely weren't being rated at all). We were playing a lot but never getting any offers. In Feb 2016 and Jan 2017 we made sure to start using our S&S card every time, and started seeing small offers that we didn't take. In Oct 2017 we got one of the $25pp with $50 OBC last minute casino offers that lots of people got. We booked on Friday at 1:30 and were on the ship less than 48 hours later(!). Offers after that were better than the ones before and we booked on Jan 11 under the OWJ code (below) for Feb 17 2018 cruise. Just a couple weeks ago on Feb 21 we finally got our first premier offer (while we were on the Feb 17 cruise).

Currently I have 4 casino offers in my VIFP screen. Three have been up for a while now and are expiring Feb 28/Mar 1. The Premier Getaway offer just showed up on Feb 21. (I typed this a week ago before they expired & am just posting today. I currently only have the below #4 premier, no others)

1. Casino Rates - code PZ1 - expires Mar 1

"get up to $500 off fun select rates" sailings thru 12-31-19 from $143pp. In reality, it's $15-50 under the lowest available fare (48-hour sale) except military guarantee is $3-8 less. This ends up being about 25-38% less than fun select on the couple of cruises I randomly clicked on. LOTS of cruises to choose from.

2 & 3. Exclusive Casino Rates + get up to $100-$150 OBC - codes OWJ & OWK - expires Feb 28

"available on select Sunshine, Magic, and Miracle sailings" 7+ days thru 12-31-18. OWJ was for int, OV, or balcony with $100 OBC, OWK was for spa or suites with $150 OBC. You could still get your pre-boarding comps casino cash in addition to the OBC, if you qualified for any thru GCS global casino services. I can no longer click to see rates but for the most part they were exactly or approximately the same rates as #1 above - about the same or just slightly less than the lowest available fare. I booked one of these offers for our Feb 2018 cruise and got the $100 OBC as part of the offer plus emailed and received $75 casino chips from GCS when I arrived.

4. Premier Getaway Cruises: Up to 40% off with casino rates + casino cash - code P8V - expires 4-5-18

P8V code = $100 casino cash comes with this offer plus Normal premier perks & events

Eight cruises to choose from:

- 5 day Triumph 4-9-18 New Orleans - from $288 interior (no 1A left)

- 5 day Ecstasy 4-9-18 Charleston - from $398 interior $403 PT (*now 433 PT)

- 4 day Inspir. 4-16-18 Long Beach - from $188 1A $198 interior

- 5 day Valor 4-16-18 Galveston - from $338 interior (no 1A left)

- 4 day Triumph 4-19-18 New Orleans - from $288 1A $298 interior (*now 308/318)

- 5 day Triumph 4-23-18 New Orleans - from $298 interior (no 1A left)

- 5 day Valor 4-30-18 Galveston - from $323 interior (no 1A left) (*now 338)

- 5 day Fantasy 5-14-18 Mobile - from $298 1A $328 interior

For all options, 1A & Interior rates were the same as or about $10-15 less than guarantee rates, except on Fantasy where the 1A would save $32 off lowest guarantee. Unknown if you can also get pre-boarding comps from GCS in addition to $100 that comes with the deal as I have not booked one of these premiers.

My gambling style: Typically I play craps, betting min bet $5 on passline and 2x odds ($10). Occasionally I will Come bet with odds. Rarely I will place 6 or 8, veeeery rarely 5 or 9. My normal budget for craps is $500-600 for the entire cruise. I play a little slots. I finally started trying to record my playing time & points. My last 3 cruises =

Feb 2016 unknown.

Jan 2017 approx 400-600 pts slots and approx. 8-10 hours craps, won a bit on both slots & craps. $10 ave bet rated.

Oct 2017 approx. 800 pts slots and approx. 7 hours craps, lost my whole budget. $15 ave bet rated.

(also, we just got off the Feb 17 cruise on Sat but I already had these offers in VIFP so the Feb 2018 playing time did not factor in to the above 4 offers)

I never have earned a DOU card. Probably because my play is split between slots & craps and they don't combine to earn the card. Even if I wasn't splitting my play, I'm pretty sure my level of play wouldn't get it until near the end of the cruise. ;)

A new offer showed up today in addition to #4 . . .

4. Premier Getaway Cruises: Up to 40% off with casino rates + casino cash - code P8V - expires 4-5-18

P8V code = $100 casino cash comes with this offer plus Normal premier perks & events

Eight cruises to choose from:

- 5 day Triumph 4-9-18 New Orleans - from $288 interior (no 1A left) (*now $308)

- 5 day Ecstasy 4-9-18 Charleston - from $398 interior $403 PT (*now 448/453)

- 4 day Inspir. 4-16-18 Long Beach - from $188 1A $198 interior (*now 198/208)

- 5 day Valor 4-16-18 Galveston - from $338 interior (no 1A left) (*now 393)

- 4 day Triumph 4-19-18 New Orleans - from $288 1A $298 interior (*now 308/318)

- 5 day Triumph 4-23-18 New Orleans - from $298 interior (no 1A left) (*now 328)

- 5 day Valor 4-30-18 Galveston - from $323 interior (no 1A left) (*now 358)

- 5 day Fantasy 5-14-18 Mobile - from $298 1A $328 interior (*now 338 Int only)

I did not re-check how the casino rates compared with guarantee rates this time.

5. Casino Rates - code PTF - expires April 26

"Enjoy FunPlay Chips + Casino Rates with up to $500 off Fun Select" sailings thru 4-30-20 from $143pp. I haven't randomly checked rates for this fare yet but I am guessing it's similar to the others - the same or slightly less than the lowest available fare. LOTS of cruises to choose from.

I couldn't find anywhere how much in FunPlay Chips. Finally found in my email it comes with $50 for me with this code PTF.

My carnival casino offers have gone from great to meh. Will be doing a farewell Premier on the Magic in May...then stick with my land based casinos who are still offering great deals. It was fun while it lasted. In my opinion they now oversell the Premier and Ultra cruises making the welcome aboard party difficult to get a drink and the casino is so crowded getting a seat at table games or on a machine are next to impossible.

Cheers and happy cruising.

I agree. Right now I have 3 offers - exclusive casino offer code PTC, casino premier exclusive offer PC9, and premier getaway exclusive offer P6V. Haven't even opened the offers to see what they are yet, as I must vent about this:

I am just off the Conquest this past Saturday. (3/3) Having gambled in the casino enough to earn 5500 points, I received NOTHING from the casino during the cruise - no strawberries, etc. in the cabin. And I especially did not receive a bounce-back offer, which is how I booked this cruise. I was pretty shocked one was not slid under my door the last night or waiting in my mailbox the morning of debark. I was on Glory the last week of January, and received many goodies in cabin - strawberries, cookies, wine, steakhouse dinner, bounceback offer. I have written to global casinos, and am waiting for a response. I hope I was just somehow overlooked, and that they did not change their offers.

pe4all, I think you were overlooked. Clearly I am not as big of a player as you are, but I got strawberries on my most recent cruise a couple weeks ago. At 1500 you should have gotten DOU card. With 5000 you will qualify for DOU card on the first day of your next sailing as well. Was the Conquest cruise a Premier ? I think bouncebacks go to the top players on each cruise. So, if there were lots of big players on your cruise, you might not have qualified this time, where a previous cruise there might not have been as many so you were the big fish that time. I am very tempted to start another new thread for people to start reporting who the casino hosts are. I wonder how much difference that makes. I'm sure some are better than others. In regards to their response, it takes at least 5 business days for your casino play to be downloaded to their system, so it may be a few days longer than normal before you receive a response.

Please post again after you open your offers !!! : )

pe4all, what kind of cash did you get with your premier cruise before? And was it a PC9 as well?

I have had a PC4 offer before and have always gotten $500 cash at the cashier. This upcoming cruise I have for April is the same PC4 offer, but they have cut it down to $200 cash instead.

I have gotten the BBoffers about 4 years ago. Then all I got was Premier Casino Offers for the past 3 years. Usually a PC4 offer, which was a slightly reduced fare with $500 cash wating for me at the casino.

Just got off th Glory in January with the PC4 offer, but just booked another PC4 offer for April. This time only $200 cash.

I really like the Premier Casino Cruises better than the BB offers. BB offers used to have to be booked with 2 weeks of recieving it, and had to sail in the next 3-6 months. Seemed like I alwys got them during my Jan/Feb cruise and I don't usually cruise after that until winter again.

With the Premier Casino Cruise, I get offers all year round and can take them at my descretion. Also they come with many perks like prizes & cash from the casino, welcome party with better hors d'oeuvres, free wine, free steakhouse dinners, gifts in your room, DOU card the first day.

I would choose a Premier casino cruise over a BB offer anyday. And always give your card to the dealer for tracking your play. It is worth it.

BTW, I play only craps and a lot of it. My spending limit is $500 /day.

Play place bets only. Place 6 & 8 for $30 each, 4 & 10 for $10 each. Press up each bet as they hit (buying the 4 & 10 for $25). Take in the money every other time on the 6 & 8 and pressing another unit the other times ($30 goes to $60, take the money, $60 goes to $90, take the money, and so forth). Build to $150 and then take it all down to $30 and start again.

I have PC4 and PC7. Did not get a bb on my cruise last week and not sure if I'll be booking a premier as I have a couple cruises still booked.

Does anyone have any experience playing in the 100 K slot and blackjack tourneys? Are those cruises full of gamblers? How does the tourney work? Sorry if this is construed as a derail.

I had the DOU card waiting at the cage for me, as I had booked this cruise as a bounce-back offer. It was not a premier cruise - just a regular cruise. The casino was busy, but not crazy busy, as I have seen it on other cruises. I sent an email on Sunday, and received a canned response that they would look into the matter and respond within 3 business days. This is only the 4th day. If I don't hear by next week I will send another email.

My PTC offer is casino cash (doesn't say how much) and up to $500 off rate

My PC9 offer is up to $525 off and casino cash - it would be a premier cruise

My P6V offer is 40% off and cash - again, doesn't say how much.

Did a short 4nt on the Paradise with my daughter (had a blast) on a BB offer from last October. We were VERY well taken care of. Cookies, DOU card, Champagne and free steak upgrade in the dining room. Had around 8,000 points when it was all said and done. Last night of the cruise got an offer for "Cruise Play Repeat" to expire 14 days later. Basically $100 for an inside, get $100 OBC, but didn't book as I was looking at Premiere and still have to work for a living so I have to be crafty with my vacation time :). These are the current offers for me:

  • Exclusive Carnival Players Club® Premier Cruises offer
  • Invitation Only: Available on select Premier sailings
  • Rate code PC9 will be automatically applied at checkout

Booked the Sunshine for August 31st, 8 day. Casino cash - $600

  • Exclusive Carnival Players Club® Premier Getaway Cruises offer
  • Invitation Only: Available on Premier Getaway Cruises
  • Rate code P6V will be automatically applied at checkout

VERY few sailings and only into May, so hoping they update soon for Summer/Fall dates. $450 casino cash available

And lastly,

  • Available on a wide variety of sailings through April 30, 2020
  • Enjoy Casino Cash + up to $500 off Fun Select with Casino Rates
  • Rate code PTC will be automatically applied at checkout

Casino cash is $125, but not much of a discount on the rooms when you really look at it. Doubt I'll book one of these but you never know :)

I think this thread is a great idea! Thank you for posting and good luck!

Just remember when they say "Up to $500 off", it usually is not the case.

My PC4 (Casino Premier- Exclusive Offer) was only $70 cheaper then when I did a mock booking (not logged in) on the same cruise, same deck. It did include the Casino cash, so still not a bad deal.

Also, I got a PTF offer (Exclusive Casino Offer) which states "Casino FunPlay Chips may be distributed by Carnival in its sole discretion". Fun Play Chips are chips that must be played until you lose them. They are not replaced with real chips when you win.

Exactly. The $500 is off of Fun Select rates and we all are past guests in the very least. The Casino Cash is a nice bonus, though, if you already had a plan for a specific cruise listed. If they load the "cash" on your card, how do they prevent you from just cashing it out?

I have always received actual Cash. But have heard that Carnival is moving towards loading it on your S&S. I will play that much anyway, so not a problem. But if you want the cash, do the slot machine trick. Load it on a slot machine, do one pull, and then cash it out.

I read they were changing it from cold, hard cash as well. I'm with you. It'll be gone in no time anyway, but with any luck it'll last the first day or two. Extra gambling money in any case! :)

iamnewfieMaybe inexperienced casino cruisers will believe what you are posting, however those that frequently receive casino offers know that you do not receive the same amount of casino cash on a premiere offer as you do on a premiere getaway offer.

This thread is for honest posters

I have all the same that have been mentioned. We usually go on Premiers under my wife's play. And I have been on one Ultra the same way.

Today I got an email for an Elite which I had never heard of and it was under my play. I figured I have approx. 25K combined on the last two cruises.

But the weird thing is the offer was for me under a different VIFP account that was Red. I am Platinum.

So,has anyone had this happen to them?

Anyone been on an Elite and what should I expect if I actually get it and go?

I had a lot of the $50 cruise/$50 OBC offers in 2016 and did three of them. Upgrading to OV for another $75. In 2017 no more free offers but did 2 premiers with reduced fare and $200 cash. I did get the invite for the ultra last year but couldn't due the dates. Too close to the holidays. I was surprised to get the ultra because I never have more than2000 points on a cruise. No more free offers for me.

I'm going on a premier on the Vista in May and looking at the new casino offers that came today. I'm looking at the Glory in September and would save about $100 with $50 casino cash.

The bad thing about the premiers is I spend too much time in the casino with all the giveaways. The casino is more crowded and more smoky.

I received $500 on the premier cruises I have been on. I just received a response from Player's Club about my email re: "missing" bounceback cruise. They gave me an OV1 offer, which is what I sailed on Conquest this past week under. ($200 for interior cabin, plus $200 obc) I upgrade (always) my cabin to a balcony, so I got the 6 night cruise for $950 - still a bargain in my book for 2 people in a balcony.

My current offer codes in my account are PTC, OV1, PC9 and P6V. None show how much casino cash they are offering.
