Volendam will be one of the two ships in port on Friday. She is scheduled to be at the CT dock from 1300-2200.

Partly cloudy skies are predicted with a 0% chance of rain! High should be 65F/18C (tropical heat wave for Juneau) and the low 49F/10C. Sunrise is at 4:01 am and sunset at 9:51 pm.

Also in port is Disney Wonder at the AJ dock from 0600-1700.

Next up: Signature Sisters on Monday.

Latest position is a little South of Sitka 6 1/2 hours ago. Mostly clear sky in Juneau. I hope they get their best weather Thursdays and Fridays.

Why is that, Roy?:)

Looks like a lovely day today.

In case anyone is interested, the puffins are nesting - https://explore.org/livecams/puffins/puffin-burrow-cam (not Alaska, but still interesting, and they are very good parents).

Wow! Well done, Roy. By late July, the weather should be really good, shouldn't it? Although, I guess you never know... (being the we t coast)

Thank you for that link to watch the puffins - they are so cute. I wonder when the little ones will hatch?

Considering where Volendam is, she doesn't look to be showing up much before her docking time. She has at least an hour from her present position to the harbor area.

But I will be keeping an eye on her progress.
