I live in the US, is there any rules about booking a cruise from Australia, but on the Australian site?

You will get VIFP points. You just won't get them automatically. You have to submit for missing points.

You will have to submit for missing points on the Australian site to get your US status recognized in Australia.

Are you positive because Carnival Cruise Lines(US) and Carnival Cruise Line (AU) are 2 independent lines own by Carnival Corporation. They also own Costa, Princess Cruises, Holland America, Cunard, P&O Cruises, Seabourn, Aida and Fathom.

I don't think any of Carnival Corporation cruise lines link their rewards programs. I may be wrong but I don't think I am. If you find out for sure please let me know.

In order to earn VIFP Points for Cruises that begin and end in Australia (each an “Australian Cruise”), Members must log into their Account and request that VIFP Points be awarded for Days earned on such Australian Cruise(s). Members must review their cruise history and submit a request by clicking on “Missing a Cruise?” and provide the requested information. CCL will not automatically award VIFP Points for any Australian Cruise.
