New here, question on Mariner of the seas to Penang

Have booked the 3 night cruise from Singapore in January.

We have been to Penang and stayed in Georgetown so don't need the excursion.

Though I am wondering where exactly does the ship pull in and what do people do for the few hours as we don't get in until 4pm.

Any shops and food nearby?
