$5/chair, $10/umbrella were price over holidays - think this is what we have paid in the past as well. We didn't wear water shoes and had no problems. There were occasional pieces of glass on the beach, but no different than any beach that allows glass bottles.

We were there the beginning of January. Taxi from the ship was $9 pp I think and we didn’t need water shoes. We walked along the whole beach and sand was great. Did some decent snorkeling and did see several big sheets of roofing metal and a sign out in the deeper water. The fish have settled in using them as cover.

The $9 per person was from Havensight - not Crown Bay.

We were docked at havensight and just walked off the ship towards the gate out into the “port stores”. Only one way you can go. I think there was a sign for taxis. There were people there directing cruisers towards the right taxi for certain beaches/destinations.

I just saw that we may be dock in Crown Bay...but I thinke it will be the same with the taxi operations ?

Both docks have taxis waiting just a short walk from the ship.
