Snorkeling from shore

Hi Everyone!

We are going to be in St. Martin in April and I am hoping you could help me recommend a snorkeling spot from shore. We are hoping to spend our time in St. Martin relaxing on the beach and snorkeling from shore.

We had a lot of fun and a lot of luck at Mullet Bay. We are not 'expert' snorkelers by any means, so any fish is exciting for us, but we saw a lot of them. Right where the lounge chairs and umbrellas are set up is a nice rocky area that the fish really like. Mullet Bay is a great beach to relax on as well, plus you have the airplanes and Maho a short walk away if you want to stop there in the afternoon.

Do they rent snorkeling equiptment at Mullet Bay?

No, if you are snorkeling at Mullet Bay you will need to bring your own gear.
