Princess give OBC for military

Just found this thread on the Princess forum. I sent in the info all ready to get the OBC. check it out.

"6 days got $50, up to 14 got $100, and over 14 got $250." says Debbie.

I'll keep this in mind when I go to book my next cruise. Would be nice if my cruise line would do something like this. I sail Carnival because they have always been the least expenisve.

One of the cheapest times of the year is to sail in DEC. My friends booked Crown Princess for 7 nights. $349. plus tax of about $70. So don't count out Princess, you can pick up a deal.

My husband, daughter and I booked a 14 day cruise to Hawaii on the Golden Princess. He is 100% disabled veteran and we got only $85 on board credit....we were told by the agent that was all we get for military . ???? We leave on March 16, 2011.

If you makes you feel any better, our next cruise is on Oceania, and there is no military credit. Not something cruise lines have to do!

I sent my request to Princess for OBC for military a member, about 2 weeks ago. I faxed it and then mailed the original request.

I have not heard anything yet, nor seen credits added to my account.

Does anyone know how long this usually takes?

I emailed all my documentation to Princess two weeks ago, for a cruise in May, and received a confirmation email two days later.

Was your cruise booked through a TA? I understand that if a cruise is booked through a TA, you won't see anything but your TA can check your account and see the OBC.

The nice thing about The benefit on Princess is that they keep your info so you do not have to resubmit every time.
