I got up early as usual and decided to go topside, one area I did not show yet was the Versailles Aft Pool.

When I returned to our cabin Tracy was ready for the gym. Afterward Tracy, Arielle and I went to brunch. For the past 3 cruises I’ve been trying to get Mitch out of bed to join us for brunch, but it hasn’t happened yet! It’s not like we go early, we got there at 11 am. Arielle and I had the Carne Y Huevos (Filet Mignon & Eggs); I always supplement it with a side order of bacon & sausages.

Tracy had the Grilled Salmon Fillet.

We didn’t do much in the afternoon other than lying out in the sun. Tracy and I did go to the aft pool for our meet & greet but we did not find anyone. Everyone was supposed to wear Mardi Gras beads but we did not see any. We were not wearing any either so I can’t fault anyone else for not clearly identifying themselves.

Tonight was the first elegant night and since we had ‘Your Time Dining’ we chose to go at 7 pm. Tracy and I got snackish early so we went to the Taste Bar for a bite.

I like it when they show you were you are when you are cruising.

So you stayed in Ft. Lauderdale when you cruised out of Miami? Our cruise goes out of Ft. Lauderdale. I wonder how far that Doubletree is from the port?

TicketS53 - loving your review, I loved the Liberty thought she was a beautiful ship. Heading out on the Dream in January so looking forward to your review on her. I noticed you have cruised on a lit of Carnival ships but you haven't been on my favorite the Spirit. She is now home ported in Australia, love that ship.

One of the few times we can get the whole family together is dinner time. ‘Your Time Dining’ is in the Diamond Olympian Dining Room.

Tracy and I went to the Punchliner Comedy Club to see Tom Foss. Good show!

Then we rushed over to the Stage Lounge to see Arielle audition for Legends. She auditioned for the part of Britney Spears and got it.

I'm a big fan of Carnival, so no bashing, but you have to admit that picture of Wal-Mart being advertised on the big screen is funny! :D:p:D

Thank you for making me almost snort coffee out of my nose, Mike!

I didn't notice until you brought it up. Yes, it's funny. :D
