FIRST TIMER on NCL...Thinking about the Sky

Okay so the BF and I want to get away for a weekend 3 day cruise. I have always cruised on Carnival but I am curious about NCL. We found a cruise on the Sky and it says open bar. I see an offer they have up to 5 FREE offers.

Can anyone help me share some information about the Sky (likes/dislikes) I see they have specialty restaurants. How do these special offers work? Any input would help

TIA

I LOVED the Sky. I posted a review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2644446. I ate at Cagneys (billed to our cabin) and some Sushi at Plantation Room which was also billed to the room. I am not sure at which offers you're looking. The Specialty Dining includes X number of Meals. Usually an appetizer, main and dessert. You will see folks have gotten extra of all, I think it depends. I didn't pay attention to any of the other "perks". Hope someone else chimes in.

The Sky 3-day is a GREAT weekend getaway! (Note the Pick 5 Offer is not valid on the Sky).

A day on the private island where you food and beverages are included. A day in Nassau.

To get an idea on what happens on the ship, check out our live post from the Sky https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2539744

The Pick 5 offer isn't valid on the Sky, however the Sky does have it's own version of the Pick 5 called the Free at Sea All-Inclusive, which includes choosing up to 5 of the following offers, depending on what type of stateroom you book: a photo package, $50 dining credit, $50 per port shore excursion credit, 100 minutes of WiFi, and/or 3rd & 4th guests free on select sailings.

I was on the sky to Cuba... My 2 complaints, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I had I had ever slept on. (They added 2 egg crates and my back was still screaming!)

No adult free hot tub (or one that I found)

The alcohol all included was nice. I tried drinks I would have never paid for. :)
