Internet Packages NCL Escape

are we able to purchase internet packages prior to sailing?

Leaving on the Escape in October and would like to do this.

I've been trying to figure this out but it appears that if you didn't pick the wifi as a perk when booking the cruise you'll have to wait until you are on board and pay extra for it.

My booking for May 2019 I can’t get the Wifi packages either. Maybe they’re going to be refreshed soon with a different pricing tier?

You can purchase online closer to your cruise for a discount.

The speed on the Escape was actually not too bad - best we've had on any NCL ship.

"Advance" purchase of ship's satellite WiFi internet are typically available as a prepaid option about 60 days prior to sailing/embarkation, with a discount & the one-time activation fee waived - IMHO, not really necessary a smart move, unless you have zero OBC to offset it and/or did not select the Free At Sea 250 minutes promo package offer/bundle, as those can only be done onboard. It might be worthwhile if one is doing the unlimited streaming package and looking at blowing $240 dollars away without any other subsidies.

Yes you can purchase them before sailing, but it may be closer to sailing than you expect. Try about 30 days out.

Thank you all for your awesome feedback. I’ll be checking about 60 days out.....Ibelieve that’s what I did on my last two cruises. Just like to get everything done before I board.

Update: the Internet packages did become available last week .....60 days prior to our sailing ......and I was able to prebook!

They should be available online to purchase 60days from your sailing. Mine was.
