Heated pools?

Are the pools heated on the ships? We're booked on a 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Liberty Dec 2 and wondering about the temp of the pool water. Will it be too cold to enjoy?

They are not heated.

Not heated so the water itself may be on the chilly side.

No heated pools & I find the hot tubs to be only warm tubs.

The aft pools where the adults are partaking in multiple drinks without restroom breaks are the warmest.

If it's warm enough and sunny, solar power will heat the pool by mid-day.

Ill be sure to remember that lol! Hopefully the water on the slides won't be too cold for the kids.

I was thinking of a similar response but you nailed it better than I ever could.

Lol, that reminded me of being at an all-inclusive where the same people were at the swim-up bar all day. I just tried not to think about it, hoping there was plenty of chlorine in the pool.

We were on the Sunshine in September going to Canada and the pool was HOT. We couldn't even stay in for too long sometimes. Other days, it was a perfect warm temperature and we would swim for hours.

If they want to go on the slide bad enough, the water temp. won't be an issue!:D

Related to this-does anyone know if they open Water works, even if it is cold? Looking at cruising out of Charleston in December to Nassau-this weather could potentially be chilly the entire time. But would they still have pools/water works open? Does anyone know? 

yes, everything will be open, but cold, they use ocean water. Why we never go to the Bahamas in the winter.

Waterworks was open when we went on Pride in February.

Baltimore. Not sure exactly when it opened but the kids made use of it during the cruise.

Agreed. My biggest disappointment with cruising....the hot tubs are too cold!

How is the water at ports, Cozumel, Grand Cayman,  Montego Bay in late December.....

Perfect

A spa attendant told me the hot tubs and thelasso pool are kept at about 37 degrees C, or about 100. This allows guests to stay in the tubs longer and not feel ill. I keep my hot tub around 102-103 and I can only take 15-20 minutes at most without feeling overheated.
