Do you have any MSC Divina questions?

I've returned to the States after a three-week whirl wind cruise/vacation through the Adriatic Sea. Totally loved every minute! For those from the states who have not had the opportunity to venture over the pond I highly recommend :).

To add to the answers already received about dining times in the YC; I think this varies greatly based on the maitre'd assigned and it seems they switch this position around quite frequently. Before we sailed in YC (June, 2016), the reports were that you were asked to select a dining time and stick with it the whole week. People did report that they were able to tweak the time, but that it was generally expected that you arrived at the same time each night. We had a new Maitre'd, Jackamo (I know I am not spelling his name even remotely correctly, sorry). He insisted we show up whenever we wanted. No standing reservations needed. He asked that if we were going to dine between 7-8:30 what we have the conceirge call ahead to let them know our wishes and they would reply with a time to arrive.

Shortly after our cruise, Jackamo was no longer the Maitre'D of LeMuse and it was reported to be a woman who once again wanted you to select a set time for the week.

I can't imagine them saying no to you eating whenever you wanted each night, but I would not at all be surprised if they ask you to call ahead to give them an approximate time each night if you plan to dine when it is busy. Seems that they are going to keep YC at capacity even during the off season via upgrades.

How are points earned toward Status? Is it just for the cruise itself? the number of nights sailed? onboard purchases suck as shore excursions, and drink/dinner packages? Is it possible to earn points pre-cruise by purchasing these online?

Thanks for any info! ;)

Thank you so much for your detailed reviews!! We leave Saturday for our first MSC cruise, I'm kind of apprehensive, having been on other lines that have so many choices of things to to for entertainment it's hard to do it all in one week. [emoji4]

But two weeks ago we got a call that we were upgraded to Yacht Club & I'm super excited!! I was kind of bummed to lose my all inclusive drinks everywhere on the ship but we bought coupons for when we are out of YC.

I am mostly excited for the veggies in the cups, how funny is that??

Question for you: Will Butlers reserve chairs for you by the one pool?

Thanks again!

Congratulations! The Yachtclub is quite an upgrade and was a wonderful experience. We never had any problem finding chairs. We also never had much of a problem carrying drinks from the yacht club bar with us to the casino, etc. You'll get wine with dinner in the dining room; we usually had cocktails in the yacht club. Our Butler was wonderful about things like bringing coffee and such to our room; we never tried to have him reserve pool seats.

You will definitely enjoy yourselves!

Congratulations that is awesome! I can't answer your questions (our first time in the YC isn't until April 2017) but I was excited for you so had to jump in. Enjoy!

I am looking at the Divina for January 2017. There are not many cabins left. Many note that they are adjoining cabins ,has anyone had any experience with these types of cabins? Are they noisier? Etc. thank you

were were in the same situation.. but be booked the last 3 person b2 on our cruise.. it was a connecting.. we absolutely loved it.. we had very respectful neighbors and almost never heard them at all.. though I would rather not have a connecting its was no big deal when we were on the divina.... but I would call msc to see if really more rooms are available.. if they say no... then I would call a travel agent... and see what they have available..

anout 2 minutes in is a room tour..

Looking to possibly go November, how are you able to tell how many and what types of cabins are left?
