Around 11:30. Then when you get on, go to the buffet for lunch, explore the ship then go to your cabin. You can usually get to your cabin 1 or 1:30. They are closed off til then for room stewards to remake/clean, etc., cabins from previous passengers.

If ship leaves at 4pm passengers must board at least an hour before then. We really like getting on early as possible and we've been on 100+ cruises since 1985.

Your cabin will be ready around 1:30. You can arrive at the pier then and have access to your cabin immediately. You will also be able to eat at the buffet or O'Shean's. A lot of people like to arrive early to get on board sooner. The only real difference is that the main dining rooms are open for lunch until 1:30, so you miss those. If you board early you have to keep your carry ons with you. The lines are worst as soon as the open the ship for boarding, and are for the most part gone by 1:30 - 2:00.

We usually arrive at the pier around 9:30 - 10:00.
