We are booked on MSC Opera on April 23 from Venice.

This will be our second cruise (the first was on Celebrity, Alaska).

 

I have some questions and I would appreciate any input.

What are the main differences between the two lines (if you have sailed both)?

What is the general ambiance on Opera? And on similar Med. cruises?

How many formal nights for a 7 nights on MSC?

How easy is to get from a Mestre hotel to the port in Venice?

Any other tip or advice about MSC, Opera and Venice you care to share?
