Cartegena spain

Recommended Posts

One day?

Cartagena is a lovely town - very DIY friendly with an unmissable Roman Amphitheatre ruins/Museum. Virtually next door to the Museum is the Valor Chocolateria where they make delicious hand made chocolates plus anything else chocolatty such as cakes, ice cream and hot chocolate (if you want UK style hot chocolate ask for Cola Cao otherwise you will get the very thick/sweet Spanish version), Alternatively, turn right when you get on the seafront and take the panoramic elevator up to the castle. Great indoor market too.

Thanks, shopping?

There is a large shopping mall on the outskirts of the town https://murciatoday.com/espacio-mediterraneo-shopping-center-cartagena-spain_1117-std.html

There is also an interesting indoor market in Cartagena centre selling good local produce https://murciatoday.com/cartagena-mercado-de-santa-florentina_14353-a.html and a street market on Wednesdays.
