The Commodore in Galveston....

Just wanted to get some opinions on staying at this hotel in Galveston. It's on the seawall but not sure how far from terminal. Appreciate your thoughts...:)

Nothing in Galveston is far from the terminal really lol.

Commodore is one of the older motel types in Galveston,think seaside inn.

Not the best,but OK if you just wanna rest your head..

Cant think of the closest street,but head to 21st off seawall it will take you right to the terminal.

We've stayed here a number of times and the staff is nice. It's right next to a little diner type place (can't remember the name sorry) good food at good prices. And Joe's Crab Shack is right across the parking lot same side of the street. Beach is right across street, cross walk right in front of hotel. Have parked our car there a number of times for an entire Cruise w/no problems. Taxi to port around $12-15 for 2 people w/tip. Over all location is nice and it's a good place to stay.

Thanks so much for your advice! We are really open to any hotel just want something reasonable and close.

We have stayed there numerous times, it's always clean and the staff are very nice. No problems at all.
