I have not sailed with NCL in 5 years. The last 4 cruises I took were all comped through CAS, all suites. I have not cruised since the new rating system(lucky, hot, golden, vip). I booked an october cruise through CAS through Foxwoods casino. My question is where do you think I will placed as far as ratings go? If there was such a rating system 10 years ago, I think I would have been a vip because I always was comped suites and paid for very little on board(specialty dining, drinks ship wide, excursions all comped). I stopped going on NCL because of a bad experience on my last cruise in the casino which left a sour taste in my mouth. When I called CAS and asked where I would placed and what card I would start out with, they basically had no idea??? Does anyone have experience with this and have an idea where I may be placed? Worst case scenerio, say I was brand new and booked through a Casino, where would I start out at?
Lucky. The rating period was last year. You didn't have any play, so you rate as a newbie. A Foxwoods comp is not a CAS comp.Hey Stephen, I just noticed you won the 2011 Sun tourney! Congrats! Are you planning to do any of the ones coming up? I have never done a tourney sailing, as I hate having the casino packed, but was thinking of maybe doing one in this latest batch.. How was your experience with sailing a tourney cruise?
My last cruise was Dec 2012 and prior to that 2 cruises Nov & Dec 2011. I only play slots, but I do play a bunch. When I called CAS last week, I was offered a balony comp'd (on the 4 night Sky). I asked what my rating was and they were able to tell me exactly how many "points" I had and what my card would be. 5800 and I was "hot". Really surprised they wouldn't tell you. Even if you were only "Lucky", they should let you know. I had a very nice person on the phone at CAS, who actually seem to like her job.You have points because you sailed in the qualifying period April 2012-March 2013. The OP doesn't have any because he doesn't have any cruises in that year.
