Turtle Cove - Post Hurricanes

I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with turtle cove snorkeling recently. My January cruise was rerouted to St.Thomas and I was considering the pirate schooner to turtle cove snorkel excursion but was wondering what the snorkeling conditions are like post hurricanes.

Hopefully in the next few weeks someone will post about the conditions at the turtle cove. Visiting in January.

Bump. Anyone been here recently?

I was told by a boat crew person that Turtle Cove lost its turtle grass during the storms so no turtles there since the hurricanes. He said there are turtles at Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. Maybe some of the boats will start doing snorkel trips to Water Island.

Water Island also lost much of its sea grass. Unlike before hurricanes many days we don't see any turtles anymore. :')

We are supposed to be going to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island on a catamaran snorkle next week. Will report back after Xmas!

If you look at the reviews on trip advisor, people have been seeing turtles at Buck Island and Turtle Cove. Interesting.
