Hi everyone!

I have tried to find the answers on the boards but can't seem to pinpoint them. Sorry if you seen them over and over:

What did you do in Belize with your toddlers? My hubby wants to go snorkeling, of course, but where could we go that toddlers are ok?

Also has anyone sailed on Rhapsody of the Seas with a toddler?

Thank you in advance!

We went with Vital Nature Tours, though there are others that also allow children. Just look for one where you don’t have to carry your own tube on the hike. The hike is not strenuous, but you will want your hands free to carry your child, if they get tired of walking.

Please go with a private vendor in Belize. The cruise ship operators put larger numbers of people on their tours, which is dangerous because there is a guide at the front and back of the links of people to rescue people if there is a problem and it is more dangerous to be on a longer chain. On the day passengers drowned on the cruise ship cave tubing, some of the private vendors actually cancelled their tours because they felt the water level was too high. You might also want to talk to the company to see if they can be flexible about what you will do that day, because it is possible for the water to be extremely calm and safe (it was the day we did cave tubing in Belize and the kept yelling "butts up" since we were in danger of hitting the ground since there was so little water). I believe safety changes have been made (they are more likely to cancel if the water level is higher now) but you might want to tell the operator you'd like to be extra cautious if the water level is on the higher end (they determine each day if it is safe for cave tubing to operate). On your way back, you should try to stop at the Belize zoo - it's on the way to cave tubing and is very small but incredible.
