Steinwerder Terminal in Hamburg

I have berthed at Hafen City and Altona but I see my next cruise to Hamburg will berth at Steinwerder. I guess you cannot easily walk into Hamburg from this terminal and need to rely on the Shuttle bus or public transport. Would appreciate to hear from those who have experience of using Steinwerder. PS - it will be a Sunday when we arrive/depart Hamburg.

The only way to get there is by taxi / Limo and it takes about 20 minutes from downtown. Its in the industrial area of the Harbor opposite to a containter terminal. Not as nice as Hafencity but very good terminal facilities at least.
