Scuba Photos Finally Online

10X

Recommended Posts

Finally, after two months since our cruise ended, I have the scuba photos online. Our cruise was a 14 night on the Sea Princess to the southern Caribbean, 1/28/06 - 2/10/06. I was diving at three islands, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Bonaire.

My wife does not dive, but does snorkel, so at some of the stops we both snorkeled. The snorkeling photos are also posted and are a mix of her's and mine.

Go the below site and select "Cruise 2006". There are about 18 galleries of photos there, but each gallery is clearly marked as to what it contains so you don't have to look through everything to find the snorkeling and/or scuba photos.

Hi,

I agree, great pictures! As far as chasing butterfly fish. The secret is to swim ahead of them and camp out waiting for them to swim to you (they don't like being chased as I assume you found out with your comments). :)

sea-jay,

Our dives in St. Lucia were shallow, only about 40-45 feet.

In St. Vincent our dives were at 85' and 40'.

In Bonaire we were at 92' and 65'.

The average dives depths for the deeper dives was much shallower.

I use an Olympus C5050 with an Olympus PT-015 housing. I use an Inon D2000 strobe (single) and have an Inon wide angle lens and a close up lens as well. Just in case I screw up an flood the camera, I have a backup PT-015 and a backup C5050.

In Bonaire you can dive all day long between 30' and 60' and see more than you could hope for. No real need to go deep unless you see something interesting.

Let m,e know if you have any other questions and I'll get out my log book.

You should see what it's like in Tahiti and Hawaii - WOW!!!!!!!

I'm going to post those pictures on the same web site as soon as I can. I'll post something on this board when I do.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
