Princess "On Your Own" Alaska Cruise Tour

Anyone know if I can book land excursions via the ship's activity desk or should I arrange everything prior to travel? None of the Princess line activities as part of their land tour package excites us, but having the transportation handled for us to Fairbanks sounds appealing. Any tips on how to plan for land activities is appreciated!

A post or pre land program needs to be booked ahead of time.

As to excursions for the stops in the port you can do it before or during the cruise but if you wait until during the cruise it is likely that some of the excursions (the more popular ones) will be fully booked.

I would do them ahead of time.

Once on board you will receive your excursion tickets and each one will not the time frame for cancelling them to get your money back.
