Shark Attack Off Costa Rica

Unfortunately, a 49 yr. old woman on vacation from New York was attacked and killed by a tiger shark while scuba diving off the coast of Costa Rica last Thursday. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Although shark attacks are rare in the Caribbean, swimmers, snorkelers and divers always take a bit of a risk when venturing into open waters.
