Beach Day with Kids

Hello everyone

I am looking at maybe a beach day when we visit St Thomas. We would be DH, myself, DD 11 and DS 8. Can anyone recommend the best beach? We would like to swim, play in the sand, lay about and relax a little. We are looking for a beach that has washroom facilities and food service as well.

We -me, hubby & our two boys (6 & 8) - went to Emerald Beach when we were there in April. We did not want to spend a lot of time or $$ just to go to the beach & one of the crew recommended this one. It was a $4 pp taxi ride and about 5 minutes away from the ship. The beach was beautiful, not crowded, and there were lounge chairs for rent ($5 each maybe? - not much). There was a small local hotel right there that had an outdoor bar and restaurant.

We had a great day! We were just in St. Thomas over Thanksgiving and went sailing, but we would have gone to Emerald again if we were doing a beach day.
