It entitles you to 1.5 liters of bottled water pp per day in your cabin usually all delivered first morning .but not small bottles of water you pick up as you get off the ship each day or freshly squeezed orange juice ! Unlike many other cruise lines.in the pool bars ,theatre and eateries i felt i was being a nuisance by ordering from the premium choice and in a few cases was told what i wanted was not available ,however in the atrium bar .bar 11 and the live room bar premium came into its own ! Imho i wouldnt bother unless your a really fussy drinker ,just pay the £2.50 supplement each time you want a drink from that menu

Sounds like you know your drinks but we like full bodied reds, even with fish [emoji15] , and my drink is a good malt whisky don't ever drink rum[emoji483] [emoji483] but I will try the Brazilian cocktail if I can remember it.

We are on that cruise and AI inc drinks was included. Did you book very early or late in that AI isnt offered 'free'? We paid for the drinks package when on the Dream a couple of years back and it was worth every penny despite not being heavy drinkers (beer daytime wine etc at night) At no time was quality or quantity a problem and the wine bottle was left with us. Maybe regime different on Celebration/Marella? We also never saw any charge for cakes? however with 3 meals a day high tea on top was OTT. This is a sea heavy cruise, our last one wasnt yet we worked out we got our monies worth easily without being walking/staggering drunks! With all the days at sea frankly a drinks package if not included is a must.

Ah just reread you title...you are talking about going Premium over and above the standard AI package? Again going back to our Dream experience the drinks on the basic all inc were fine and we can be picky on red wine. If you are really picky on certain brands of beer etc maybe just pay extra on the odd occasion the AI doesnt suit as lemonjelly says?

Beer or should i say lager wise i found myself leaning toward the draught heineken which was on the premium package it was very quaffable and helpem me through many a difficult evening in the casino ! Im a CAMRA member and avid real ale drinker so it was against the grain a bot to spend the week as a lager boy [emoji16] however i managed to survive .
