Mozarella Sticks at O'Sheehan

I agree. Not worth all that fried stuff if not even gooey!

I've eaten at O'Sheehans many, many times and I just don't get the love for certain items on the menu there. Nothing has stood out to me as being any different from an average eatery that you can find anywhere ashore.

I really miss the Mozarella Sticks at O'Sheehan. Too bad it has disappeared from the menu.

If you are like me, please reply to this post. Hopefully NCL will hear our plea, and put the Mozarella Sticks back on the menu.

My son on the jade this past January asked for them at O'Sheehan's and they magically appeared. It was explained to us they are not on the menu but they are on board as sometimes they are offered in the mdr as appetizers. Also it was super bowl when we were on board and they were frying them in the buffet for Superbowl snacks.

When they did have them they always seemed to be on the ships we weren't on. We finally got them on BA back in 2014 several times and they were always hot and great.

But yeah, they have to be hot otherwise they don't taste too good.

I saw someone mention them being on the Dawn when then Dawn had them in the kids little buffet section and sure enough they were on our trip in 2012. But they were just lukewarm.

they were the perfect midnight snack for me. i too miss them

Check in the casino after 11 pm. (Escape) They put out snacks and finger foods and I have seen the cheese sticks there. Great wings too. My favorite thing was the PBJ sandwiches. (quartered). For some reason that hit the spot! Who would think pbj would taste so good on a ship filled with anything you can think of to eat? The area is hidden away in the corner of the casino but worth finding if you are a late night muncher.

The only time I saw them onboard the Escape last week was as an appetizer served at the Cruise Critic Meet & Greet in the District Brewhouse. So a good reason to go to the Meet & Greet if you like them!
I ate one mozzarella cheese stick too at the M & G, dipped in marinara sauce, yummy!

You can get them in McDonalds.

If they're going to make cheesy fried sticks they could at least choose a cheese with a bit of bite.

Mozzarella may well be gooey but it's almost tasteless. Mozzarella sticks sort of sum up my view of O' Sheehans. I will eat there but only if nowhere else is open. Its the one place, on every ship I've been on, that has it, that struggles to get past average.

I miss them as well!!! I honestly thought they were so good every time I had them on the Breakaway ('13), which to be honest -- was WAY more times than I'd like to admit LOL.

I know you can get them anywhere, but unfortunately no longer on the ships. I didn't know until we were on board and I tried to order them on the Getaway ('15) and was truly bummed! It didn't make or break the fantastic vacation, though.

NCL - PLEASE bring them back! : )

Couldn't have said it better myself!!

I prefer the marinara sauce, though...but ranch is a close second!

I love cheese. But breaded and fried cheese dipped in ranch? That's life. ;p;p

Now if they did breaded Camembert or even just a nice warm camembert without the breaded bit. Just open it and let the cheese ooze out and mop it up with a nice crusty baguette. Mmmmm that'd be worth going to O' Sheehans for. :)
