Paying for shore excursions - holland america

Hi Paul,

Excursions are usually priced in ship's currency, and HAL's currency for a European cruise will be USD.

I can't be 100% sure that's what you've been quoted if these prices have been quoted specifically to you (eg e-mail to your Aussie e-mail address) or for advance on-line booking/payment from Aus.

Who is quoting you? Cruise line or Aus travel agent?

JB :)

The prices are in US$. If you buy them before the cruise you will pay for them straight away on your credit card. If you book them on your cruise, you will be charged on your onboard account that you will receive at the end of the cruise. Everything on the ship is charged to your account and is in US$.
