Will be going to Labadee and we are looking for a great place to go snorkeling. Has anyone gone snorkeling there? Is it a good place to snorkel? If you have any pictures from snorkeling there that would be great to see.

Thank you

Snorkeling is not great, or even good, on Labadee. There is one RC excursion that takes you away from the area and I have heard that it is decent, but I have not done it. If you plan to stay in Labadee, you will be lucky to see even one fish (although there are some small ones near the rocks by the water slide). If you must snorkel, I would book the excursion. If that is not a priority, just enjoy the day on the beach - it IS great for that.

No other way to put it...snorkeling sucks at Labadee. I've snorkeled all around the Caribbean and Labadee is the only place I'll never snorkel again. I swam out far away from the beach thinking it would get better. All I ran into that far out was trash floating in the water.

It's a great beach day for sunning and swimming. Just not for snorkeling.
