Just Back from Summit Cruise

I absolutely loved my week cruise on the Summit. I was very impressed by Captain Kate. She was always smiling, greeting people and even stood outside telling cruisers to come back again as we left the gangway. The food was good and the service was awesome. On the last day we decided to walk off with our luggage to arrive at the airport earlier. As we entered the lounge, we noticed the line was long but it moved quickly. As guests exited the elevator with their luggage, crew members directed them to the end of the line and we heard a guest say, "do I really have to stand in line? I had a suite" seriously???

Glad you enjoyed. Priority debarkation is a suite perk. When I was on Summit the Michael’s Club Concierge did escort suite guests past the line, so it’s possible the passenger you overheard may have known this was a perk, but didn’t realize they needed to meet the Concierge at Michael’s to utilize the perk. Agree with you’re impression of Captain Kate; had the pleasure to meet her and she was really terrific.

I was on this cruise as well and agree with everything you said. It was a great time!

And if that suite guest had read the letter left in their room (we were suite guests too) they would've known to wait in Michael's where they would've been escorted to the expedited debarkation process.

So glad Captain Kate had turned the Summit around. For awhile there, she was really going downhill. I love the M class ships but was hesitant to try Summit again after a (somewhat) bad experience several years ago. So happy to hear it is back to being up to Celebrity standards!

And hopefully it will continue after she leaves.
