brooklyn self disembark questions: princess

who has experience with this? with NCL in manhattan it was horrible. the line literally went from one end of the ship to the other and i think people lined up 1 hour before the ship even was cleared.

with princess being 6am just wondering if you have to line up at 5?

also the day before when they tell you your disembark time, if you see it and dont like it, can you easily switch to self disembark. I do not want to be getting off at something like 9 or after due to having to get home for an appt.

i know the solution is to just to self, but just wondering the procedure if we dont do that.

as an aside, i'm assuming nothing is open for bfast for those late departures but figured id ask because i'm curious

We do self but when they show the list of different areas to go for different times,just go with your luggage to whatever time and area you want. Then disembark with that group.
