Uber/Lyft - East Rutherford NJ (hotel) to Manhattan Cruise Terminal

Who has used Uber or Lyft to get from NJ to Manhattan Cruise Terminal and back to hotel. What was your experience, and cost.

We did that last month.

The only thing. When the Uber picked us up he complained that he wasn't licensed for NY.

He couldn't get a return customer. . Cost was $38.50 . Gave him a large tip.

On the return, we walked to the ferry. Took it across for $11 pp. Then Uber from there. Cost $14.

Oh yeah I didn't realize about the licensing. I wonder if Lyft is the same. And what about tolls, did you pay them or was that added to the total?

The Lincoln tunnel toll was included in the $38.50.

Is was going to be around $60 to go from the cruise port to Rutherford.
