Looking for Pet Friendly Hotel in Southampton

Any Dog Owners out there who have sailed with them from Southampton?

For our return to the US in October (Eastbound in May) I'm looking for a pet friendly hotel convenient to the docks for our last night.

I understand that owners who have traveled with their pets on the QM2 are a minority, and the chance of them seeing this post even more rare but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Novotel says they allow dogs. Anyone stay there?

I have always stayed at the Hilton Doubletree predeparture on the QM2. Great grounds for dog walking. I chose them because I have more than one dog. The only downside is that it is a bit isolated and a good 15/20 minutes drive to the ship. I pre order a taxi that allows dogs. Never has been a problem.

I have stayed a few times at the Novotel. Very near the port and the amenities of Southampton. It’s a decent four star hotel and absolutely fine for one night.
