Dental Fixes on WCs

With lots of older PAX on these 3-4 month world cruises, stuff can happen like dental plates/bridges becoming unglued.

DW had a bridge come off on a 33-day B2B and the ship docs refused to touch it.

We know that there are several double overnights on most WCs where emergency dentistry could be available & arranged, but we wonder if the docs on WCs would be more willing to re-glue plates/bridges on these long cruises. Maybe we could bring our own glue. ;-)

Comments/advice welcome.

Drs. are always afraid of being sued. They are not Dentists, Bring your own supplies. My cruisemate forgot her insulin. Remember wandering around somewhere in Asia for pharmacy.Second place took care of her.

I think someone on my WC had a dental problem and the ship's doctor contacted a dentist at our next port. The passenger took a cab to the office and had his problem resolved.

Not the best way to spend a port day but did get the problem resolved. Luckily it was not a 3rd world country.
