Does Holland America give a military discount or on-board credit?

My dad always gets on-board credit when cruising with Princess, but we are now looking at a Holland America cruise and wondered if HAL does anything for the military but can't seem to find any information on the HAL website.

Anyone know?

I should know the answer to your question because Holland America is DH's favorite cruise line, but to the best of my recollection, they only offer a military discount to active duty personnel in the U.S. military and Canadian Forces.

I checked with my TA and he said that sometimes HAL will designate that a cruise can receive Military discount, but few and far between.

Princess gives a military OBC. HAL does not.

and NO discounts or OBC in the past 15 years on HOLLAND AMERICA and no plans to do so.

Carnival gives some credit on most sailings.
