Is their insurance for UK based traveler that would guard against SNOW?

I ask because we are in the December 15th cunard transatlantic christmas package with connection in new york. IF we were to be unable to reach Southampton because of Snow. Would any insurance policy be able to cover us. I highly doubt we would get anything back from our cruise agency.

I have insurance from my bank providing me with x millions in medical cover curtailment of holiday etc etc but I don't think it would cover snow.

Thanks in advance.

Had travel insurance from a US company. In January 2016, our flight back from a cruise from Houston to JFK was cancelled. The NY airport was closed due to snowstorm Jonas. The insurance covered our hotel and transport expenses incurred while waiting for our rescheduled flight. While snow was the reason for airport closure, our claim was covered under travel delay.
