sea lice in december?

I know I've seen posts on this topic before, but are sea lice (those mini jellyfish type things) a problem at this time of year? If so I'm definately getting some of that "sea safe" lotion stuff.

 

I know when I was in Grand Caymen in Jan '04 they were a slight problem, more of an annoyance but wished I had known of that seasafe stuff!
