Rotterdam in Key West Jan 29, 2018

The Rotterdam is in Key West from 11:00 EST until 18:00/6:00 PM EST and will be docked at the Outer Mole. Also in port is the Viking Sky (Mallory) and Carnival Freedom Pier B).

I will try to remember, if she has prime viewing like Veendam last week, it would be nice.

Lucky I just clicked on this thread at this moment. Exciting to see her sailing in. I'll be on the Rotterdam heading into Key West in late October.

Missed the Rotterdam's sail in. I see she still has the old logo on her funnel which will disappear during her next dry dock, liked the old one.

I've really moved west. Here approaching Maui the sun won't be up for almost another hour and the 11AM arrival of the Rotterdam in Key West is already history.

Of course the DAM ship was over an hour early, but with her 180 turnaround and docking - Rotterdam had plenty of time and still arrive on time.

Well, she had such a long trip down from Tampa Bay last night!!! ;)

But she did leave almost 45 minutes late :D - with her unfortunate medical emergency right at sailing time.

We will be on her next week. We’ll be hard to miss we’re a family of 9 adults and 5 kids.

We may be out of luck on the sailaway, the camera has shifted just before Rotterdam is to leave, We may not get any view, if no operator is present.

According to the marine map - Rotterdam is already moving and no shift of view. :eek: What a waste of time.

Camera never moved off the bow of the Carnival ship [in front of the sunset]. Very disappointing.
