Hi Anyone going on the 17 Night Transatlantic WestBound?

Any tips on what to see while at any of these ports?

Marseille,France

Barcelona,Spain

Casablanca,Niricci

Funchal, Madeira

Pointe-A-Pitre,Guadeloupe

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Hi we are going on that cruise. If you go to the MSC roll call page you will see i started a thread on our cruise. We're a family with 2 kids aged 11 and 16 from London, UK.

in funchal, when you come out of the port turn right and walk along marina front until you come to the cable car, this takes you to some lovely botancial gardens...nearby the gardens are the famous whicker chair rides which bring you back down the mountain

also just near the marina are tourist buses which do a tour of the island (not sure of cost or duration but much cheaper than a ships tour)

dont forget to buy the famous maderia wine (you can buy a taster near the cable car entrance ----about 300 metres there is maderia museum)
