We also got the offer under the Pack and Play offer on Saturday 10/14/2017. It was the $25 per person for the 5 days on the Triumph during Thanksgiving but I scrolled down and seen there was the 7 day our of New Orleans on the Dream for $40 per person so we jumped on that one going out 11/19/2017 for a Thanksgiving Cruise. This was not a casino offer and we also had heard about these kind of offers and had never received any but we were the lucky ones this past Saturday!

I checked on the 7 day for that cruise but no offer was available at that time.

Are these ALWAYS the result of previous high Casino "donations", or are they just random???

My husband has this offer and he donated $40 to the casino on our cruise in August. I didn't gamble at all and don't have them. So, not necessarily high rollers at all.

I saw these offers last week for cruises sailing by the end of October and a few days later included sailings by the end of November. We got back last month from 11 nights on Celebrity and it was just to soon to sail again. I just checked a few minutes ago and these offers are gone. Had they included sailing dates going into 2018 would definitely have jumped on one. A good reason to constantly check your VIFP offers.

I don't think so, because I won like $1000 3 years ago and haven't been on Carnival in 2 years now. My old PvP called me today while I was looking at cruises on X and told me I was part of this deal. I looked up cruises and got on the Carnival Magic 11/18 cruise for $150 per person in a balcony. I couldn't pass that up for a thanksgiving cruise.

Now finding a dog sitter last minute is going to be difficult over the holiday.

My PVP called me a couple weeks ago with a free cruise, just port taxes. The next day I got $50 interior with $50 OBC. Gave the freebie to mom, took the second with my wife. Casino offers yes, also Fascination couldn't get to her home port in San Juan, so they needed to get bodies on board last minute. Preferably those who would leave money behind in slot machines and such.

I just happened to log on too the other day and stumbled on this! I Sailed the conquest in August and gambled a little bit, but not enough to get a premiere offer. This was a VIFP Casino offer. Almost booked a 7 day on the Magic in a Balcony room for $300, but then saw a 5 day in November on the Sunshine for $55! Jumped on that one. Ive been wanting to give the Sunshine a try but the reviews are so polarized that I wasnt sure I wanted to risk it...but for $55...Had to do it!

  • 4 weeks later...

I just booked a 7 day on Carnival Magic leaving in two weeks for $25 each for two people with a $50 onboard credit. I've never gotten this deal before and can't hardly believe it! It's under last minute deal and leaves in two weeks. Ends up I'm just paying Port fees.

My past few cruises have been Carnival freebie casino offers, but I decided this last Spring after completing my last free Carnival cruise that I wanted to cruise on New Years Eve so I booked that, and luckily it ended up being a premier offer with casino cash, so I rebooked the same cruise at the lower price. Disappointing though is that I have not received a single free cruise offer since I booked this NYE cruise several months ago (testament to the idea you don't receive freebie casino offers if you currently have a cruise booked). I keep reading here on this board about others who have been receiving new rounds of casino free cruise offers, and have checked my Carnival offers frequently, but sadly have not received anything but more premier offers which haven't been incentive enough for me to book them.

Out of the blue 2 days ago though, I received a free casino cruise offer from Holland America and yesterday booked a free 7 night cruise for 11 days out over Thanksgiving weekend. The amazing thing is I've only cruised twice on HAL, and one of those cruises was a free casino cruise 2 years ago.

I really like cruising on HAL because their cabin A/C actually works, their food is better, and you can get hot food for room service, but usually book Carnival because of free cabin casino offers. My last cruise on HAL, I ended up being offered really cheap upsells after booking a free inside cabin, and ended up sailing in a spa balcony cabin for very little money.

Luckily for me, I've built up vacation time at work this year since I haven't received any free cabin offers from Carnival since Spring. So the moral of the story is, good things come to those who wait!

I was disappointed I haven't been receiving any decent casino offers from Carnival since Spring, but Carnival Corporation brand HAL stepped in. So now I'll be cruising twice before year's end.

It seems odd to me that 2 companies under the same corporation end up competing against each other, which is how I see this situation.

Did you look under "my offers" on your VIFP account? That is where I found the $25-50 cruises. I never received an email or a phone call. I read about these super cheap cruises here on CC and booked one almost two weeks ago. Will be sailing on the Sensation for a 5 day cruise for a total of $231 on 11/25. I just got back from the Breeze on 10/1 but couldn't pass up the chance to cruise again for just $231. Pretty sure I won't be seeing these super cheap cruises again so I had to jump on it. This will be my first solo cruise so I'm a little anxious but totally looking forward to it.

I am booked on the premier cruise for Nov 25th. Last week checked my offers sections and had a bunch of free interiors or $25 with $50 OBC. So that kills the if you have a cruise scheduled you won't get any free offers. I think it has a lot to do with people canceling with all the port changes and they have o fill up the ships. Have gotten offers before but have never seen this many and especially around the Holidays. I took a 5 day out of Charleston for $100 and $100 OBC. Its only an hour from my house and couldn't pass it up.
