I know there is a shore excursion for the wave runners, but do they rent them without a tour?

TYIA :)

No

Due to liability concerns they only do a follow the leader type of excursion.

It is great for the weekend warrior that only does them on vacations.

If you are a frequent flyer on the jet skis, you will be bored.

But, we enjoy them, did them this summer for the 4th time and love them

Safe travels.

That's right! Not much fun if you want to do your own thing....but a novice will enjoy it. The "faster" drivers do a lot of waiting on the slowpokes!

Although it is follow the leader, the above really is not too true.

They rank you in skill order and the first leg is just about 300 feet.

We were 1-2-3. and when it was time we were full throttle ahead for about 7 min to the resting area. That is where we re grouped and were given some of the history of the area as the others came up.

Then again and again full throttle with rest periods.

It really was not too painful waiting for the others to arrive at the reststop.

Enjoy, we did.

Safe travels.
