World Explorer Cruise Line....

Recommended Posts

I really miss World Explorer Cruise Line and their only ship the steam turbine powered(quiet)Universe Explorer. They ceased operations after the 2003 season when they couldn't reach a new lease agreement with the ship's owner of record. When operations ceased they were the longest operating cruise line serving Alaska and that's where I sailed her on two cruises. Her itinerary was 14 nights round trip out of Vancouver and they provided plenty of port time at each stop.Sadly I was recently notified that efforts to acquire a new ship have failed and they likely won't be returning to operations.

Hi

I also saied on her. I had hoped they could find another ship. They did but the ship had a big problem (storm) during Sesmester at sea cruise. it was on news. I called and they were trying to get another ship. My sister in law was one of the entertainers on board
