Main dining menu in England

Does anyone know what the main dining room menu looks like on the independence in England and France

I believe it's the same old "spice" named menus they have had for several years now. There may be some differences in an entree here and there.

I agree the menu is pretty much the same from Southampton as it was from Barcelona or Venice.

Soups, escargot and steak available every night.

It is the same menu but will have different specials, pies and Indian food and the like. The promenade cafe will be the same, the usual staples with a few British influences.

That’s our findings anyway when comparing our Oasis cruise at Easter to our usual UK sailings.

The only difference I've found is in the Windjammer at breakfast where you have an 'English breakfast' area. Here you will get proper back bacon (not that horrible fried to death fatty stuff that gives streaky bacon a bad name), proper baked beans, black pudding (which is wonderful fried despite what everyone says...they are wrong!) and sometimes even fried bread!

PS You may have gathered I love a proper British breakfast!!:D

You can't beat a good full English breakfast.

I was surprised to see on Radiance of the Seas in Sept on cruise to Hawaii both Cumberland sausage and black pudding on breakfast fare in the windjammer,

Are you going to try the black pudding too?

Seem to recollect you were thinking about it previously.

Absolutely not. I've tried that on the ship and I don't intend to even try to acquire a taste for that!

Nothing personal Bob, but like I said, you are wrong!;) Fried black pudding with breakfast is an essential!

Try pease pudding with bacon.

The pease pudding reminds me, if you get a chance, try proper butcher's ******s (not those terrible mince balls that Brains sell) with loads of mash, pease pudding and gravy...proper comfort food! If you don't mind losing your teeth, try pork scratchings as well. These again are miles better from a butcher than the pre packed ones in the supermarkets. I am getting very hungry!!!!
