MSC in Europe

We are sailing on the Poesia in May...round trip Bari. A couple years ago we did the Armonia round trip Venice. We love MSC for the ports and the price! Also enjoy all the different nationalities on board. Question...we know that MSC embarks and disembarks people at more than one port per cruise. We didn’t happen to notice how this worked on the Armonia because we were last to board (literally) and pretty much first to disembark. So, do folks disembark at the same time as the rest are getting off for the port? What if it is your day to disembark but others are staying on....does that mean you can technically stay on longer??
