Deck/Cabin question

My wife and I wanted to try the aft-view balcony and when we booked on the Carnival Magic only cabins on deck 6 were available.

We since learned that the cabin was right above the Spotlight lounge. Concerned about the noise, I have been checking every now and then and just found a deck 7 cabin open up. I grabbed it before it was gone and was able to swap out without any charge.

I hope/assume I made a good move.

We've had aft balconies twice. Each cabin location has positives and negatives. For us, the negative outweighed the positives. The vibrations from the screws at times almost bounced us out of bed. Also, we were on deck 8 and the scrapping of the lounge chairs in the early mornings would wake us.

The views can't be beat though. Hope it works out for you.

You will be great on Deck 7. Our favorite decj.

We always shoot for decks with cabins above and below so deck 7 is perfect!
