Need Help For Albany, Australia

I was thinking about a morning at the ANZAC center and the afternoon at Middleton Beach

We'll be in port from 7 am to 4 pm. I know the center opens at 9.

Thought we'd be there at opening, a couple of hours there, then head to Middleton Beach for a bite to eat and an hour or two on the beach.

Are taxis available at the ANZAC center that would take us to the beach? And would we find taxis in Middleton Beach to take us back to the ship?

Or as an alternative, is this easily walkable?

Any assistance/advice greatly appreciated!

What month are you visiting, as in the winter months Middleton Beach will not be that nice for a few hours on the beach.

The scenery around Albany is stunning. There's so much to see both on the coast and inland I would definitely not treat this port as a beach stop even if it was the right time of year to lie around on the beach.

We got a taxi from the ship up to the ANZAC. Just ask the driver for his card and give him a ring to come and pick you up when you are ready.
